The Boston-based Boogaloo Swamis have been playing their unique blend of New Orleans influenced Rhythm and Blues for the past sixteen years. They have done more to spread Cajun/Zydeco and New Orleans music than any other band in the Northeast.

In addition to Cajun, Zydeco and R&B originals, the Swamis also play recognizable tunes that incorporate their own style.

They are a truly professional, high-spirited band playing versatile and universally appealing music. One of the Northeast region’s favorite dance bands, the Boogaloo Swamis’ music is most accurately described as “infectious.” They rock the over 21 crowd at the House of Blues, provide fun family entertainment at summer festivals, and master upscale artistic venues like the Museum of Fine Arts.

With five recordings and four Boston Music Awards to their credit, the Swamis are perfect entertainment for any occasion.
